The Türkiye mobility of the project was held between 10-14 October 2022, hosted by Adile Mermerci Anatolian High School in Zeytinburnu/Istanbul. 14 students and 8 teachers from partner schools and 3 institute members from Greece participated in the mobility. Here is a list of important activities during the exchange:
1. “Be Green Theatre” and “Be Green Exhibition” by Turkish students.
2. Visiting the facilities of Zeytinburnu Municipality, Medicinal Plants Garden and Recyle Center, Dr. Tuğçe Ağba Sevencan and MSc Burçin Bağcı informed students about the studies carried out.
3. Seminar by Prof. Özlem Karahan Özgün from İstanbul Technical University, about biorefineries.
4. Visiting Istanbul-Cerrahpasa University and Atatürk Arboretum, Dr. Safa Balekoğlu explained the forestation process.
5. Guided Bosphorus Tour and biodiversity around Bosphorus. Learning about plants, birds, and fish.
6. Visiting İstanbul Aquarium, observing different types of sea habitats from around the world.
7. Planting together in school’s hobby garden. Learning about processing soil, seeds, planting process and vegetables.
