The week-long program held from Monday, 06th to Friday, 10th provided an engaging and diverse experience for participants, blending educational insights with cultural exploration. Here’s a breakdown of the program’s key components:

Monday, 06th:
The day kicked off with a warm welcome to the school, followed by a comprehensive tour. This set the stage for a positive start, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with the surroundings. The morning continued with presentations on the main topic, offering valuable insights and fostering an intellectual atmosphere. The highlight of the day was the “Climate Fresc” an interactive climate-focused game presented by the Man Eco Foundation, adding an interactive and dynamic dimension to the educational agenda.

Tuesday, 07th:
The day was dedicated to a field trip to Etara and Gabrovo, providing participants with a rich cultural experience. The visit to the Ethno-Cultural Complex of Etar and the Museum of Industry in Gabrovo offered a glimpse into Bulgaria’s history and craftsmanship also historical background of the state industry. The detailed itinerary and informative descriptions enhanced the participants’ understanding of the region’s heritage.

Wednesday, 08th:
The guided tour in Sofia provided a comprehensive exploration of the city’s central parts, complemented by a relaxing lunch at a typical local restaurant. The inclusion of free time in the afternoon allowed participants to explore further or take a break as needed. The balance between structured activities and personal time contributed to a well-rounded experience.

Thursday, 09th:
The day began with a bus trip to Melnik and Rupite, introducing participants to the unique wine-producing traditions, wine producing industry and the healing mineral springs of the region. The historical context provided, particularly about Vanga and her connection to Rupite, added a spiritual and cultural layer to the excursion, making it a memorable experience.

Friday, 10th:
The week concluded with a trip to Panagurishte, offering a blend of industry and history. The visit to agreen optics manufacturer showcased Bulgaria’s technological factory, while the exploration of the Historical Museum and the old gold treasure in Panagurishte enriched participants’ understanding of the region’s cultural and historical significance.

Overall Impressions:
The program successfully achieved a harmonious blend of education and cultural exploration. The diverse activities provided a holistic view of Bulgaria’s history, industry, and traditions. The well-organized itinerary, informative presentations, and engaging activities contributed to a positive and enriching experience for all participants. The inclusion of free time also allowed for personal exploration, fostering a sense of autonomy among participants. The program stands out as a well-rounded and thoughtfully curated educational and cultural expedition.
